On Monday, I posted our Four Year Comparison of Attendance Trends, which showed the student-hour trends in both adult and concurrent learners over the past four years.
Today, I add a deeper look at the trends: Four Year Comparison ~ Yearly % Change in Student Hours.
Findings:
- From 2006-07 to 2007-08, we increased our adult student hours by 7%.
- From 2007-08 to 2008-09, we increased our adult student hours again by 13%.
- From 2006-07 to 2008-09, our adult student hours increased 20%.
- In 2009-10, our adult budget was reduced approx 45%.
- From 2008-09 to 2009-10, our adult student hours declined 41%, in correlation to our budget reduction.
- From 2006-07 to 2009-10, our adult hours have declined 29%.
- From 2006-07 to 2009-10, our concurrent hours have declined 65%, despite no reduction in budget, classes or instructional hours available to concurrent students.
